Apple has introduced the new Mac Mini (Smallest Desktop) with M1 chip at its ‘One More Thing’ event. The company has priced it Rs 64,900. From 17 November, it will be available in Indian market.

Advanced Thermal design

Apple has made the Mac Mini with an advanced thermal design so that it does not get hot even when used for a long time and no sound comes from it.

2 External display support

Speaking of features, the new Mac Mini supports 2 external displays simultaneously. Apple has brought it as a budget desktop that is why you will not get a display with it, i.e. you can attach your old display with it or you will have to buy a new display separately according to your budget.

M1 chip

Apple says it is the first Mac Mini to use the M1 chip, which is the company’s ARM-based processor. Apple claims that it can do things like faster code compiling and video rendering.


Speaking of connectivity, the company has come up with a new Mac Mini with a compact design with two USB-Type-C ports and two USB-A ports. Apart from these, it also comes with Ethernet and headphone jack.
